Sync Google reader feeds with Thunderbird a simple hack

Well there is no way to sync your Google reader subscriptions with Mozilla Thunderbird, but you can be smart with a simple hack.
To do this just log into your Google reader account and then go to reader settings as shown in the screenshot below.

now switch to the import/export tab...

now click on Export your subscriptions as an OPML file 

a xml file will be downloaded and now you can add that file to thunderbird to read the same subscriptions for that open thunderbird now right click on the blogs and new section and click on settings

and now click on manage subscription

now click on import and finally select that file which you downloaded and all your subscriptions are now available on Thunderbird.
