Jacob Goldman Founder of Xerox PARC dies at 90

Jacob Goldman Founder and chief scientist of Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) died at the age of 90. He has come up with some of the most outstanding breakthroughs in technology such as the first personal computer called Alto, the graphical user interface (GUI), Ethernet, and laser printing.
He allowed companies to take over the research and development of these technologies and today we consumers are seeing them as an integral part of our lives. He also invested and served on the board of several companies after he retired from Xerox, he also is very popular among developers as he was the man behind the first WYSIWYG text editor. I thank him for the impact he made on the world around us.
