Windows 8 Tablets could start with a high price tag

Windows 8 is not even in beta and the future plans about the Microsoft’s next big thing are underway. Intel and Microsoft’s pricing policies could take the prices of the coming Windows 8 tablets to the higher range.

Intel is not likely to cut profit margins on its trial based Atom chips and Windows on the other hand is not looking to cut down on prices of the new OS Windows 8.
The Intel chip based Windows 8 tablets are expected to price between $600 to around $1000 which could be heavy on the pockets as the other tablet’s which are Android based are available at much cheaper rates. Windows will have to be careful about the pricing of the new OS as Android based tablets already have an impact in the tablet market.
