Windows 8 is new iPad friendly, can work on that high resolution

The new Windows 8 is capable of handling resolutions up to 2560 x 1440 on screens as small as 10.1 inches, well this resolution is similar to the 2048x1536 resolution of the new iPad with that awesome high res Retina Display.

The new Windows 8 architecture will scale the graphics to fit into the available resolutions of the hardware, and it will be helpful as Microsoft has added support for the SVG files (Scalable Vector Graphics).
This simply means that Windows 8 can handle the resolution of the new iPad, this might seem like an obvious choice for Windows having the capabilities of handling such high resolutions, especially if apple can do it with iOS. It will be interesting to see how high res things could go in the coming years, but it is always good for consumers and you never know that tablet version of the Windows 8 installed in iPad could be coming in a few months.
