How many versions of Windows 8

Windows has always been full of version, but not anymore with the new Windows 8 Microsoft is looking to cut down on the versions of the Windows. The new Windows 8 will have only 3 (Three) versions, a fairly less number when compared to the availability of the versions of the older operating systems from Microsoft.

The three versions of the Windows 8 are: Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT. The Windows 8 will be the basic version of the Windows which will be available for all the home users and will be the version coming out preinstalled with most of the PC and laptops or available for the buy, the other version is Windows 8 pro for the power users who want more out of their Windows and want to explore all the things available in Windows.
Lastly to mention the Windows RT is the version of Windows 8 for ARM, the tablets will be running this version of Windows 8 and we can even expect some phones running this version of Windows in future. I believe the idea of cutting down the number of versions of the Windows is a good move from Microsoft and will remove the confusion of choosing the right Windows version, it will be interesting to see how Microsoft price all the versions.
