bye bye 7, Microsoft Windows 8 is out

The much awaited operating system which is expected to take Microsoft to a new level finally came out yesterday. It was 25th of October, Microsoft made an official release of the next operating system, Windows 8.

Microsoft's main focus looks to be with the mobile technology with their surface tablet starting from $499, but Microsoft has said that the company will retain its commitment towards software development.
This is Microsoft's first major hardware venture with the surface tablet range and it is too early to say anything about this, only time will tell how things pan out for Microsoft. For the PC users looking to get their hands on the new version of the OS, Windows 8 Pro will cost you $39.99/€24.99 if you are using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7. It is available in 2 versions one for the desktop and notebooks and one RIM version to run on the tablets, most likely the Windows 8 phone version will be coming out soon. So many upcoming series of Windows 8 based tablets and ultrabooks were demoed at the event which included manufacturers like Lunovo, Acer, Asus and so on. The Windows 8 based PC, ultrabooks and tablets will hit the market shortly and if you are looking to give Windows 8 a shot the time has come.
